ControlMole for Android and iPhone, and controlmole.app, by Kairi Labs. Effective 17 October 2026.

These terms apply when you use the ControlMole app, Mole Premium or this website. By installing or using ControlMole you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. How we handle your data is described separately in the Privacy Policy.

What ControlMole is

ControlMole is a tool that helps you limit your own screen time. You choose which apps and sites to watch and what your limits are, and Mole warns you, nudges you and can block those apps when you go over.

It's a self-help tool, not a guarantee. Phones, operating systems and the apps it watches change, and Android or iOS can stop ControlMole from running, so a limit can sometimes be missed or a block can fail. Please don't rely on ControlMole for anything where a missed block could cause harm, and it isn't meant for monitoring or controlling another person's phone.

Who can use it

ControlMole is meant for people aged 13 and over. You may use it on devices you own or are allowed to set up, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Mole Premium

• Mole Premium is sold as a subscription or one-off purchase through Google Play or the App Store. The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown in the store before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Google Play or App Store account settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Payments, refunds and cancellations are handled by Google or Apple under their own rules. We never see your card or payment details.
• If we change Premium's price, the store tells you before it affects an existing subscription, as its rules require.

Mole Lock

Mole Lock is an optional Premium feature that makes it harder to remove ControlMole in a weak moment. With it on, uninstalling ControlMole (on iPhone, deleting apps) means tapping "Let me leave", waiting 24 hours, and then using a short window to do it. You choose to turn it on. On Android, ControlMole's device admin can still be switched off in your phone's Settings, so Mole Lock is a speed bump rather than a wall. Please only turn it on if you're happy to wait.

Fair use

Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the app, try to get around Mole Premium without paying, break or overload our services, or use ControlMole to break the law or watch someone without their knowledge.

Mole and the rest of our work

The ControlMole name, Mole himself, the art, animations, sounds and text in the app and on this website belong to Kairi Labs. These terms let you use the app, they don't give you any rights in those. You're welcome to share screenshots and clips of the app and this website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

This website and the waitlist

controlmole.app is here to tell you about ControlMole. If you joined the waitlist before launch, we use your email address only for the one launch email described in the Privacy Policy, and then delete it.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep ControlMole working well, but it's provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available, free of bugs or right for every purpose. As far as the law allows, Kairi Labs isn't responsible for indirect losses, or for time, data or opportunities lost because a limit, warning or block didn't work as expected.

None of this limits your rights as a consumer under the law where you live, or any responsibility that can't legally be excluded, such as for harm we cause deliberately or through gross negligence.

Changes and ending

We may update ControlMole and these terms. If the terms change in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and say so in the app where we can. You can stop using ControlMole at any time by uninstalling it (and cancelling Premium in your store account if you have it).

Law and contact
